2004: The Beginning

Kim Chok Hardware was founded with a clear mission: to provide reliable hardware and building materials to the local community. Starting small, we focused on building relationships with customers and suppliers, laying the foundation for future growth.

2010: Expansion in Kudat

To meet increasing demand, we opened our second branch, Kim Chok Timber, in Kudat. This branch marked a significant milestone in expanding our reach and diversifying our offerings.

2013: Embracing Technology

In 2013, we modernized our operations by transitioning to a computerized system. This upgrade allowed us to improve inventory management, streamline transactions, and enhance the overall customer experience, setting us apart from competitors.

2018: Third Branch in Sikuati

Kim Chok Timber continued to grow with the launch of our third branch in Sikuati. Known as Kim Chok (Sikuati), this location became another cornerstone in our mission to bring quality hardware and home improvement solutions to more communities.

2023: A New Era as Kim Chok Sdn Bhd

In February 2023, we transformed into Kim Chok Sdn Bhd, transitioning from a sole proprietorship to a private limited company. This marked a significant step forward in solidifying our business structure and opening doors for further growth and partnerships.

2023: New Branches in Tuaran and Terayung

June 2023 saw the opening of Kim Chok (Tuaran), a vibrant addition to our growing network. Later in October, we launched Kim Chok (Terayung), extending our presence and making it even more convenient for customers to access our products and services.

2024: Expanding to Beaufort

In September 2024, we celebrated the grand opening of Kim Chok (Beaufort), our latest branch. This new location underscores our dedication to supporting the evolving needs of our customers across Sabah.

Big things are on the horizon for Kim Chok! As we step into 2025, we’re thrilled to announce our entry into the e-commerce world.
